1. Explore the Disney College Program website
The Disney College Program is a unique experience, and therefore we strongly recommend exploring our website in detail prior to submitting an application.

An additional way to learn more about the Disney College Program is to attend a campus presentation hosted by a recruiter. A list of presentations in your area is available here.

2. Complete the online Application
Tell us about your past experience and education, as well as your roles of interest by completing our application. During this process you will need to indicate whether you would like to be considered for a position at the Disneyland® Resort (in California), the Walt Disney World® Resort (in Florida), or both. Begin your application here.

3. Interview
Based on the detail provided in your application, you may be invited to complete a Web-based interview. This interview takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Notification of Web-based interview results will be provided immediately upon the conclusion of the Web-based interview.

Based on your Web-based interview results, you may be invited to complete a telephone interview with a recruitment representative.

4. Notification
Those who are invited to complete telephone interviews will receive their results approximately three to four weeks after the telephone interview is completed. This may be notification of a final decision or notification that additional time is needed before a final decision can be made.
Please be patient as your application is being considered for acceptance into the program.

Please include "Notification Response" in the subject line.

  To apply, students must be enrolled currently in a college or university and taking classes. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet his or her school's requirements for participation. Participation in this program requires unrestricted work authorization.

  In order to be eligible to apply for the Disney College Program, applicants must have graduated high school or completed a GED prior to submitting an application. Applicants must also complete a full semester of college prior to participating in our program (note that individual colleges may have additional requirements for participation). Students who have not yet graduated from high school but have dual enrollment with a college are not eligible to participate in the Disney College Program until they have graduated high school and have subsequently completed a full semester of college enrollment.

  Candidates with unrestricted work authorization, who are currently studying abroad, should contact the College Recruiting office at 1-800-722-2930 prior to submitting an application. All other candidates should visit the Disney International Programs website at disneyinternationalprograms.com.

  At this time a summer-only program is not being offered.

  All majors are welcome to apply.

  We visit schools throughout the country each fall and spring. The campus visits consist of a presentation that provides more detailed information about the program including the process by which to apply.

  No, candidates are encouraged to explore the Disney College Program website and apply at any time.

  All interviews are conducted over the phone therefore it is not necessary to bring a cover letter or résumé to apply for the Disney College Program.

  A student may reapply in the following semester if six months have passed from the last interview.

  Not at all. Although we are sorry it won't work for them at this time, they are free to apply again during the next recruiting season. These students will have to re-apply, and interview again.

  Unfortunately, we are unable to conduct walk-in interviews at the Casting Centers in Florida and California. We encourage candidates to attend a live presentation or to apply online.

  Students hear from College Recruiting generally within two weeks following their interviews. Everyone who interviews will receive notification.

  Notification of each candidate's status will be sent through email to the email address provided on the candidate's application form. Since some messages are filtered out by various email systems, all email communication sent to candidates can be viewed by visiting the candidate dashboard. We encourage candidates to visit the dashboard regular to ensure they do not miss any communication.

  It is up to each student's school to determine how financial aid is handled if a student chooses to participate in the Disney College Program. Students should consult with their faculty advisor and Career Services, Financial Aid and the Admissions departments at their school to gain information about the available options.

  Recognition means you are not receiving credit from your school or institution; however, your school will allow you to attend without taking you off its enrollment list.

Credit means your school has agreed to award school credit for your internship.

  Participants on the Disney College Program at the Disneyland® Resort are required to take the educational component of the program.

Participants at the Walt Disney World® Resort are not required to take the Disney College Program Education Courses while on the program. A participant's school may require them to take a course, which is why it is critical for you to talk with your academic advisor first. Participants are welcome to sign up for a class even if they are not receiving credit.

  There are no tuition fees for the Disney College Program Education Course. However, participants will be responsible for purchasing textbooks and course materials for the ACE Accredited Courses. Please see the course syllabus for the required titles.

If your school is awarding credit for these courses, your school may charge you for the credits.

  Participants work a various locations across the Walt Disney World® and Disneyland® Resort property. Students will find out their exact work location as part of the on-boarding process.

  Once you accept the role that has been reserved for you, you make a commitment to that position for the duration of your program. If you have questions about the role you have been offered or your program dates, please contact the Disney College Recruiting Office at 1-800-722-2930.

  Your work schedule and days off will vary from week to week and will also vary depending on the time of year and your specific work location. Your days off will typically be on weekdays and may or may not be consecutive.

  Company-sponsored housing is provided for Disney College Program participants. The complexes are located conveniently near the Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resort property and offer similar amenities. Detailed information is available here.

Please note housing is only allowed for participants of the program, and no one under the age of 18 is permitted in housing.

  At the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida, bus transportation is provided to and from work and apartment locations for all participants. However, if participants have a car, they are strongly encouraged to bring one.

At the Disneyland® Resort in California, transportation is not provided and participants are highly encouraged to bring their own vehicle. Public transportation is a viable option and is typically a quick and convenient ride to the resort, however it may not always coincide exactly with participants' work schedules. Students choosing to use public transportation will accrue $1 per day and a free bus pass as part of the Disneyland Resort's Commuter Assistance Program.
